Stretching into Possibility in Southern Chile

Posted on Nov 1, 2015 by in featured, Portfolio | 3 comments

Ralph Waldo Emerson said “The mind, once stretched by a new idea, never returns to its original dimensions.” I’ve always loved that. Being that Chile is a long skinny country, reaching the far south takes a stretch. It’s a great metaphor for personal stretching too – it’s not so easy at first, until we reach beyond our current boundary lines. Stretching our thinking stretches our horizons and stretching our horizons stretches our thinking. The south of Chile is lush, green, moist, tame and wild at the same time. What a joy it’s been to breathe in so many new experiences. Because of it, I can never be the same. These are a few of my favourite pics from Southern Chile.
